Emotional Excellence is key to the needs of our growing worlds. There was a time when my grandfather lived in a small community of people and know everyone by name. LiFE was simple. In the advent of the telephone we were given opportunities to travel in time so to speak and get communicate with people with out even having to drive. NOW we are in a time where we no longer have any real global restrictions and we can communicate by simply turning on our computers. We have all sorts of communities developing, Facebook, twitter, myspace as well as other growing social communities. This new and growing culture requires that we communicate differently. We can no longer put an add in the newspaper with a picture of what we have to sell like my Grandfather, our new culture has to radically changed we must exercise emotional intelligence. In the near future we will see facebook inundated with self serving adds from some very low level promoters who believe that their methods will produce sales. The real truth is that the consumer is much smarter and more able to make informed decisions and will refuse to do business with these kinds of offerings. These soon to be future challenges will force those with real offers to be more innovative, creative and in a state of continuous improvement. Our world is expanding and with this new reach much wisdom needs to be applied. Emotionally Excellent people do the following: Build a strong brand that serves others with little to no expectation of a return. – These type of people are emotionally intelligent and care more about others than they care about their needs. Build a transparent brand. – These types of people hide nothing and are persons who communicate openly. Are people of Integrity. -These types of people do not compromise their values and engage with high level productive conversations. Not time wasters. -These people have a sense of urgency to their work and life, they simply understand the values of time. Love people and prize relationship. -These people have one agenda, that is to build relationships with others.
